Our Mission
We want to ensure the generational transfer of traditional knowledge, in a culturally and permanent space to gather. This space is an online network for Two-Spirit youth from Wabanaki, fostering connection within our council and with our allies.
Our Values
We create inclusive, culturally grounded spaces where Two-Spirit Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and youth can gather safely and respectfully. We honour traditional practices, like sweat lodges,
cedar brushing, and water-based ceremonies, and ensure
they take place in environments that support spiritual,
mental, and emotional well-being.
We value connection and community, building opportunities
to travel, learn, and strengthen relationships across Wabanaki.
We are committed to securing the resources needed to host meaningful gatherings that nurture leadership and belonging.
We seek land that can support our own W2SYC gatherings
and welcome allied youth groups. Access to fresh water,
space for sweat lodges and wikuoms, and gardens for food
and medicine are essential elements that guide our vision
for a vibrant, healing, and empowering space for Two-Spirit youth.
