The Two-Spirit Youth Council
The Wabanaki Two-Spirit Youth Council (W2SYC) formed during the first Wabanaki Two-Spirit Youth Gathering in 2023. We’re a volunteer-led group supported by the Wabanaki Two-Spirit Alliance and grant funding.

The Transgender Advisory Committee
The Wabanaki Two-Spirit Trans Advisory Committee is being established to identify barriers to gender-affirming care (GAC) and overall health care access for Two-Spirit Trans ptumk model of gender-affirming care that better serves Two-Spirit Trans individuals.
The Advisory Circle
The Advisory Circle guides on all matters, including Governance, Ceremonial, and Traditional Knowledge of the Alliance. The Board and Advisory work collaboratively to address all issues in a Two-Eyed Seeing approach. The Board uses Robert’s Rules for decision-making, while the Advisory follows a Traditional approach to community consensus and decision-making (open dialogues, talking circles) and votes based on a simple majority.
The W2SA Women’s Council
The W2SA Women’s Council was created by and for those who identify as 2SLGBTQQIA+ women, trans, or youth. The council provides input on issues such as gender-based violence, homelessness, food security, employment, and education.
